It’s been a couple of days into the Barclay’s ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in London and we’ve all had a chance to view the Gladiators! All I can say is that what I saw from Nikolay Davydenko this evening was a masterclass in the truest sense of the word! The guy was unplayable against Rafael Nadal.
Same can be said for Roger Federer in his last set against Andy Murray, the only difference there though, was that Rafa played a lot better than Andy did.
What about the “Viking” from Sweden – Robin Soderling – gatecrashing the party. He’s been great….and don’t say I didn’t warn you! (check out my first blog)
Not sure what to expect going forward, but I think its gonna be Roger, Andy, Soderling and…….. Davydenko.
Everything has gone very well this week. One small hiccup last night when our satellite dish got moved by some strong winds (they weigh like a ton virtually!) and BBC lost the signal for 9 minutes…..that’s a first!
It’s late here, gotta get some sleep… “Bye for now”

Hey Robbie -
I’ve been an avid Tennis player and fan for a dam long time and I really want to thank you for your excellent commentating during the european master events etc. You bring an excellent sense of excitement to the usually mundane commentary I usually hear … I just think your choice of words, the ‘off the top of your head’ adjectives and intelligent opinions and expressions are just a blast to listen to – I can really tune in and relate! I think you’re the best tennis commentator out there. Thanks dude;
